      Opening Ceremony

On Wednesday, 05 January, 2011, at 10.30 am in the state of art 2000 seater, air-conditioned auditorium of Christ University.

      Invitation Letter

An official invitation letter will be sent to participants who may need it to obtain visa, or funding, etc. on individual request. It does not constitute any commitment to provide financial support for travelling and staying expenses. 

       Visa

       Currency

The Indian Rupee, the official national currency, is convertible. The exchange rates applied in Indian banks, official exchange offices and hotels may vary. All the major credit cards (e.g. VISA, American Express) are accepted in India in places displaying the emblem at the entrance.

      Tipping

There are no hard rules for tipping in India, except in some Star Hotels. If you are satisfied with the service, a 3-5% tip is customary in a restaurant or café with table service.

The voltage in India is 230-250 V. 

       Climate

Bangalore, located at an altitude of 920 m., has a delightful weather all the year around, registering 20.48°C (68.8°F) in the month of January.

The programme will be available at www.mwb2011bangalore.in before the conference. The Final Programme will be handed out at the registration desk. The abstracts of the papers will be available online and at the registration desk.
